Design | Inspiration
In 2021, I proactively sought out a key stakeholder (Senior developer) within Apple. They oversaw the Mac Calculator app for a number of years. We arranged time for me to showcase an app prototype that I had designed and created for a “Calculator app for iPad”, along with some additions to the iOS version. I used a Keynote proposal, Sketch app & Principle for Mac to articulate the vision.
Key opportunities:
Integration of magical technology — Apple Pencil
Equation solving whilst handwriting your equations
History of recent equations.
Increasing productivity for education, business & everyday users.
I feel honoured that I may have inspired key features of a tool that will be used by millions of people globally, solving daily challenges.

UI design & Prototyping
I used Sketch app to create the user interface screen states. I then imported the artboards into Principle for Mac, adding the emotion & behaviours, building an interactive prototype.
Asset Creation
I used Affinity Designer & Adobe Illustrator to create additional icons. I used Apple’s SF Symbols for app iconography.
